Data Collection
With a PhD and a strong background in applied social research, I have theoretical and practical knowledge of qualitative and mixed-methods study design. I design, manage and implement qualitative data collection processes that capture lived experiences and contextual detail. With experience in conducting interviews, focus groups and participatory field methods in-person or online, I ensure that data gathering is ethical, inclusive and of a high quality.
Data Analysis
I use rigorous qualitative analysis to reveal patterns, mechanisms and meanings in complex social data. I am skilled in thematic, content, and discourse analysis and combine manual coding with software such as NVivo and Atlas.ti. My analyses translate rich narratives into evidence that informs programme design and policy decisions directly.
Data Reporting
I transform qualitative findings into concise, actionable insights for practitioners and policymakers. I tailor reports and briefs to the needs of the audience, balancing methodological transparency with accessible storytelling. I produce evidence-based summaries, policy reports and visual narratives that transform research into knowledge ready for decision-making.
About me
As a researcher and project manager, I specialise in gender equality and social protection, combining academic rigour with practical experience in applied research and programme support. I hold a PhD in Business and Management from the University of Manchester (UK), an MA in Social Protection from H-BHS (Germany) and an MBA in Project Management from FGV (Brazil), and have led and contributed to projects spanning government, academia and international organisations. My work focuses on generating actionable qualitative insights to inform policy design, implementation, and evaluation. I am available for short-term research consultancy and longer-term part-time collaborations.
